If you are interested in writing for the site or have some ideas for me to pilfer, email me at NFLStrikesBack@gmail.com.
You can use this one to tell me I suck or am full of garbage as well. I like being told this on a daily basis as I am a glutton for punishment.

Welcome to the No Fun League
I'll have a better introductory post once I get this thing on its way. For now, I just wanted to introduce myself to the masses:
My name is Greg (nicknamed The Commish), I like to write about football and this is my site.
I am going to bring you a number of different items through this venture (which I will update at least once a day, maybe more as time permits), ranging from fantasy football/injury updates to game recaps (once the season gets underway, no one cares about preseason anyway) to news ranging from a variety of sources (pending I don't get in trouble from stealing....i mean, borrowing them).
In addition to some of the traditional methods of football analysis, I am going to be trying some new ideas that I have been tinkering with over the past couple of months. While most of you may not have read any of my previous writings (either at Helium, Rootzoo or my Facebook page), I tend to write pretty straight-forward, no-nonsense, objective-style writings from all different perspectives and points-of-view. I'll write a human-interest piece every now and then, but for the most part, I like to stay with an Op-Ed or Game-Analysis style.
However, as I mentioned before, I got some interesting ideas up my sleeve, ranging from the Limerick Game Recaps (yes, this is a blatant ripoff of TMQ's All-Haiku Predictions, but I figure it's worth a shot and if people like it, it was worth the copyright infringement) to a new take on weekly Power Rankings, which will take into account things both on and off the field.
Overall, the idea is to differentiate myself from every other football writer on the web. While most things have been tried, they haven't been tried by me, which means they haven't been beaten into the ground just yet.
That's all for now. Check back later this week for some fantasy football insight as well as my 2008 NFL predictions.
